FREE Writing Workshop for Women of Color & Allies on February 7
Do you have a story to tell? Are you interested in exploring your creative voice? Join us for this special writing workshop.
Art2Action and Kitchen Table Literary Arts are proud to offer a Writing Workshop, co-presented by the USF School of Theatre and Dance. Whether you’re a writer, or just want to explore your creative voice, we invite you to share your story. All genres welcome. Co-facilitated by Andrea Assaf and Sheree L Greer.
For those who are interested, there will be an opportunity to contribute your writings toward an original performance piece, “Breaking the Wall of Silence – Voices of Resilience” in collaboration with USF Dance.
Poet/Co-Facilitator Andrea Assaf will weave contributed writings into a collective text that will be choreographed by Jeanne Travers, recorded by actors under the direction of Dora Arreola and performed as part of the Spring Dance Concert.
NOTE: Art2Action events are always LGBTQ2 inclusive. If you were assigned ‘female’ at birth, or if you’re currently woman-identified, you’re all welcome to attend. People of all abilities welcome.
